At Nimue Gifts we are totally committed to protecting the privacy of our site visitors and customers. The Nimue Gifts Team all shop online and fully appreciate and respect the importance of privacy on the internet.

Your Consent

We will not sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any third party, but we cannot be responsible or held liable for the actions of third party sites from which you may have linked or been directed to the Nimue Gifts website.

Data
When you become a customer of Nimue Gifts and make an order with us, you will provide your name, address and email address. This data is used by us only in relation to your order; for processing and sending orders and to clarify or communicate any issues surrounding your order. We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties, except where it is part of providing a service to you, such as arranging for a product to be sent to you.

Nimue Gifts uses Create as its website platform provider, and this is where your customer data is collated and held. Create has the highest levels of security - with full SSL encryption, as well as other security measures such as firewalls and password protection. This provides protection for the data shared between the web server and the browser. Site security is evidenced by the green padlock and a url which begins https:// in the browser bar.

As the data controller, Nimue Gifts will not use your data for any other marketing purposes or share your data with third parties.

If you purchase products from us, we may retain details of your delivery address or information associated with your account. We also maintain a record of your product selections and the fulfilment of your orders.

If you write to us by post or email or post on our blog and social media sites, records may be kept of that correspondence.

If you correspond with us by mail, telephone or email, written records of that conversation may be kept.

When you place an order with Nimue Gifts your email address will be automatically added to our Newsletter list. If you do not wish to continue to receive marketing from us you should opt-out by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in any email communications which we might send you.

Any data stored, transferred or processed as deemed necessary by Nimue Gifts will be done so in line with GDPR regulations.

User accounts

You can set up an account with a username and password to access and use certain features of the Website. You agree to provide us with accurate account information and acknowledge that you are responsible for keeping your account login information secret. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this requirement.

If your registered information is no longer correct or up to date, you can contact us in order to edit your personal information.

We may suspend, close or delete your account at any time. This includes if you break any of your obligations set out above. We do not have to give a reason for closing or deleting your account.

Payments
When paying for your orders with Nimue Gifts, you are using third-party payment processors. We do not store or collect your payment card details. Both Paypal and Create use a secure and encrypted service, to ensure your payment details are protected to the highest level. They will only collect and store card information if you have opted to do so, for faster checkout in the future.

Newsletter Signup
You can opt-in to our e-mail newsletter via a form on Nimue Gifts website homepage, through which you will provide your name and e-mail address. You can also opt-in at checkout phase, by clicking a button to confirm you are happy for your e-mail address to be added to the newsletter list. Your e-mail address is then added to a mailing list within Mailchimp. This e-mail data will never be shared with third parties and is securely kept within a password protected mailchimp account.

All Nimue Gifts customers have the option to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us. If you do not wish to continue to receive marketing from us you should opt-out by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in any email communications which we might send you.

Nimue Gifts will send news updates, promotions and blog posts via e-mail only. We never bombard those on our list.

Changes to this policy

We may make changes to this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the date at the top of this privacy policy will be updated. In the event of a material change we will also send out an email to inform customers of the change.

This privacy policy explains how we respect the privacy of our website users; the information that we gather, how it is used and how it is kept secure. Our policy will ensure that we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
